HireWelders.com goes live

HireWelders.com successfully launched last week. Catapulted by a globally syndicated press release, the site is now fully functional and is already helping welding employers locate skilled welders for their open welding jobs. With a no-cost, no-risk posting option for employers, there's no reason not to sign up. That's making job-seekers happy too, with more being added every day.

Welding employers are already finding the tools available on the site to be better than others out there. They now have the ability to source welders by the specific process they need, i.e. GMAW, SMAW, etc., by location, employment authorization, and even language spoken.

Welding educators are also beginning to become aware of the site and the ability to post dynamic content about their program including degree and certificate information, photos, and even videos on an interactive map. International programs are being added, with the intent to become the most comprehensive array of welding schools anywhere.

Welding Jobs

A new site designed to give a boost to the welding industry has been officially launched. HireWelders.com will offer worldwide information about welding jobs and welding education in an effort to create a stronger link between the two. Created to help ease the difficulty in finding qualified welders, the site promises to offer those seeking welders, welding jobs, welding education, or welding students a single place to find what they need.

“With the shortage of skilled welders, the welding community needs a site like this to bring everyone together,” states site developer Shane Turner. According to American Welding Society (AWS) statistics, there will be a projected shortfall of skilled welders in the U.S. of more than 200,000 by the year 2010.

“We decided that one of the best ways to help welding employers was to involve the schools that train welders,” Turner says. “We need more individuals to get interested in welding and they need to be able to find information about welding education easily.” As a result, the site offers a free venue for educators to share information about their programs as well as an interactive map where visitors can find welding programs around the world.

Employers will recognize immediately that this site has been designed with them in mind as well. With the ability to search for candidates who are proficient in the welding process or processes they need, have a work authorization for a particular country, or even speak a particular language, employers will be able to source welders for their welding jobs with more efficiency and lower cost. They’ll also have the ability to manage their vacancies, process applications, and view statistics on the openings that they list with the site. “Companies seeking welders will be pleasantly surprised by the tools that they have in this site. They were developed in direct conversation with people in the welding industry, and I think that’s what makes it a welding job site instead of a job site with welding openings,” Turner states.

HireWelders.com will be offering free 60-day job postings to employers for a limited time. Welding educators are invited to provide information about their program including course offerings, photos, video, etc. by making contact at support@hirewelders.com.
